Responsibilities
• Audit existing marketing, content, documentation, and community channels and identify key gaps and opportunities
• Develop a cohesive go‑to‑market and brand strategy that aligns mission messaging with product and developer outreach

• Design and run targeted campaigns to grow developer adoption (including short form tutorials, product demos, and measurement frameworks)
• Strategize developer community outreach and growth tactics (e.g., developer forums, Reddit, Discord, GitHub) and coordinate with any developer-relations or product-marketing partners
• Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (executive leadership, design/brand lead, product, engineering) to align messaging and publishing cadence
• Establish KPIs, analytics and reporting to evaluate content/campaign performance and iterate quickly
• Manage external agencies, contractors or freelance writers as needed and surface hiring recommendations for full‑time roles when appropriate
• Advise leadership on prioritization, timelines, and scope for a scaled marketing function
Qualifications
• Senior marketing leader (Director/CMO level) with demonstrable experience leading content, brand, or community marketing programs

• Strong content skills: translating technical material into clear developer‑facing docs, tutorials, videos and campaigns
• Experience building or coordinating developer relations or community programs and running acquisition experiments for technical users
• Data‑driven: experience setting KPIs, running analytics and iterating based on results
• Experience working in mission‑driven or open‑source organizations is a plus
• Comfortable working fractional/remote and coordinating distributed teams; some US time overlap preferred
• Track record managing agencies/contractors and advising on hiring/scaling marketing teams
