Fractional Head of Growth / CMO for Premium E-commerce Brand

Remote, USA
Posted Jun 13, 2026
Full-time

Benisouk is a premium Moroccan rug brand selling mainly to the US, UK and a few other markets.

We do around $3–4M/year in revenue, with a high AOV, a strong product and a High growth potential:

• Handwoven Moroccan rugs.

• B2C worldwide + growing B2B/Trade (designers, retailers, hospitality)

We are now looking for a senior growth leader to help drive the next stage of growth.

Role: Fractional Head of Growth / CMO

We’re looking for a Fractional Head of Growth / CMO who can build and drive a clear, data-driven growth strategy, and coordinate the different channels and initiatives into one coherent plan.

This is not a full-time role. We expect around 1–2 days per week to start (approx. 8–16 h/week), for an initial test mission of 4–6 weeks, with the possibility to extend if the collaboration works well.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy & Priorities

• Define clear growth priorities for Q4 and the next 3–6 months.

• Set targets per country (mainly US/UK) and per customer segment.

• Translate this into a simple weekly execution plan: what we do in ads, email, CRO, B2B, etc.

2. Media & Budget Orchestration

• Review and challenge the current Meta & Google strategies.

• Propose how to allocate budgets across channels and campaigns.

• Define guardrails (ROAS, MER, CPA) and give clear weekly “scale / hold / cut” decisions.

3. Email & Lifecycle

• Define the key flows we need (welcome, browse, cart, post-purchase, winback, etc.).

• Give actionable briefs for newsletters and automated flows.

• Align email planning with paid campaigns and key offers.

4. CRO & Landing Pages

• Prioritise the most impactful CRO tests (product pages, category pages, buy box, etc.).

• Make sure we know which tests run, why, and how we decide if they are winners or not.

5. B2B / Trade (high level)

• Propose a simple structure for a B2B / Trade pipeline (stages, follow-up).

• Suggest how to integrate Trade into the overall growth strategy.

6. Reporting & Decision Making

• Build a simple weekly dashboard (Google Sheet or similar) with key KPIs.

• Provide every week a written summary of what happened, what worked, what didn’t, and what we should do next.

How we work

• We prefer written communication (Slack, email, shared docs) rather than long meetings.

• We care about concrete actions, numbers and deliverables, not just discussions.

We are OK with an occasional short call when useful, but most of the work should be:

• clear in writing,

• structured,

• backed by data.

Required Experience

Please only apply if you can show:

• Experience as Head of Growth / CMO / Growth Lead for DTC e-commerce brands in the $1–10M/year range.

• Strong understanding of Meta Ads, Google Ads, email marketing and CRO, and how they work together.

• Ability to build simple but insightful dashboards and use them to drive decisions.

• Very good written English, with the ability to present ideas in a clear, structured way.

• Comfortable working asynchronously, taking ownership and driving initiatives forward.

Bonus (nice to have):

• Experience in home decor / furniture / premium / luxury niches.

• Experience with B2B / Trade / designers.

• Experience working with remote EU/US teams.

What we are NOT looking for

• Someone who only speaks about “branding, storytelling, positioning” without metrics.

• Someone who only wants to “manage ad accounts” inside Meta or Google. This role is above channel ops.

• Someone who doesn’t like to write things down clearly (we need written plans and reports).

Success criteria – first 4–6 weeks

In the first 4–6 weeks, we expect:

1. A Q4 growth plan broken down per week (offers, budgets, channels, key tests).

2. A 1-page weekly dashboard with the main KPIs (per country, per segment, per channel).

3. Clear rules for scaling/cutting Meta & Google campaigns.

4. A basic email & lifecycle plan (flows to build, cadence for campaigns).

5. A simple draft structure for the B2B / Trade pipeline.

If this is delivered and we see progress in the numbers, we will consider extending the mission.

How to apply (very important)

To avoid generic copy-paste applications, please answer briefly to these 4 points in your proposal:

1. Relevant experience

• Mention 1–2 e-commerce brands you helped as Head of Growth / CMO (size, niche).

• Share a concrete example of impact (“e.g. ROAS from X to Y, MER from X to Y, revenue from X to Y in Z months”).

2. How you would start with us

• In 5–10 bullet points, explain exactly what you would do in the first 4 weeks.

3. Example of dashboard/report

• Describe (or link) a simple weekly dashboard you use(d) to steer a client (structure + KPIs).

4. Availability and rate

• How many hours/days per week you can realistically dedicate.

• Your suggested fee (hourly / weekly / monthly retainer for ~1–2 days/week).

Applications without clear answers to these 4 points will not be considered.
