Position Overview
We’re seeking a junior-level freelance graphic designer for project-based work focused on packaging, print materials, and branding execution. Potential for ongoing projects. You’ll primarily work within established brand guidelines, executing clean, professional designs across a range of educational products and marketing materials.
Responsibilities
• Design and produce packaging for educational products under the direction of the lead designer.
• Create print materials such as labels, activity guides, flyers & brochures.
• Support brand consistency efforts by applying existing brand standards across assets
• Prepare print-ready files, including proper setup for production
• Work with dielines and ensure accurate layout for packaging
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
•Junior-level experience in graphic design (freelance or in-house)
• Strong portfolio demonstrating print and/or packaging work
• Proficiency in:
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe InDesign
Solid understanding of:
• Print production processes
• File setup and prepress requirements
• Working with dielines
• Ability to follow and execute within an established brand style guide
• Strong attention to detail and organization
Nice to Have Skills
• Book or curriculum layout design experience
• Motion graphics or video editing skills
• Experience with Adobe After Effects
