Freelance Translator / MT Post-Editor

This is a remote position

We are currently looking for freelance translators/post-editors (MTPE):

Language combinations
• English (US) to Korean(KO)

Specializations
• Human Resources, Healthcare, Technical -specificknowledge ==>US market

Requirements

We must ensure we have reliable and experienced translators, then applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
• a) have obtained a degree in translation, linguistics or language studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education;
• b) have obtained a degree in any other field from a recognized institution of higher education and has the equivalent of two years of full‑time professional experience in translating;
• c) have the equivalent of five years of full‑time professional experience in translating.

+ CAT experience

For MT Post-editing

Other requirements
• Experience in Post-editing Machine Translation.
• Knowledge of MT and LLM technologies
• CAT experience (memoQ).

Skills

Experience in evaluating Post‑edited material:
• Post-editing Quality: fluency, naturalness, accuracy, and coherence
• RAW MT output evaluation: Post-editing length and time, Error type identification and similar
