Functional Registered Dietitian: General Health & Wellness
Curis Functional Health is a rapidly expanding company recognized in the Inc. 5000, seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, providing medical nutrition therapy, and collaborating with other health professionals to enhance patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments of clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based nutrition interventions, including individual and group nutrition sessions
- Employ a holistic approach to your client’s overall health, integrating physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors into treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, chiropractors, therapists, and other dietitians to ensure coordinated care
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Educate clients on nutrition interventions to prevent, treat, reverse, or manage medical and mental health symptoms as it relates to their nutrition care plan
- Stay current with best practices in nutrition treatment and integrate new approaches into your practice
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
- Current Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) status in Texas
- Passion to learn functional medicine principles and a holistic approach to nutrition care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Experience with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competence
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP)
- DUTCH provider
- Certified LEAP therapist (CLT)
