What this Job Entails: 

The Hardware Coordinator/Technician I is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer systems. The person in this role will examine the systems to validate correct operations and identify errors. 

Scope: 
Follows established procedures on routine work

Requires detailed instructions 

Your Roles and Responsibilities:
Assists with day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal systems software and hardware. 

Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a diverse environment. 

Helps with maintaining passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment. Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel. 

Helps recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades. 

May participate in development of information technology and infrastructure projects. 

May help to conduct training programs designed to educate an organization’s computer users about basic and specialized applications.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and 0 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Builds stable working relationships internally

Follows standard practice and procedures when analyzing situations or data

IT savvy with an interest in new technologies

Familiarity with IT inventory environment

Comfortable with following technical instructions to flash drives, image devices and re-write hardware IDs

Strong work ethic

Excellent communicator in both written and verbal English

Ability to work in a team, but with minimal supervision

Able to excel in a fast paced work environment.

Ability to learn new things and adapt to a changing environment quickly

Understanding of business operations 

Able to excel in a technical environment

Physical Demand & Work Environment:
Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing

Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment

Must be able to use a computer

Must have the ability to communicate effectively 

Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

Salary Range
$39,976.00 - $63,120.00 USD (Salary)Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
Further, the salary information noted above is a range that consists of a minimum and maximum rate of pay for this specific position. Where an applicant or employee is placed on this range will depend and be contingent on objective, documented work-related considerations like education, experience, certifications, licenses, preferred qualifications, among other factors.
