Full-time

PhoenixTeam is launching a national initiative to prepare kids, students, and early-career professionals for an AI-driven future at no cost to participants. We are hiring a Head of AI Future Programs to build and scale this into a grassroots, nationwide movement. This is a 0→1 builder role with the opportunity to shape how the next generation learns and applies AI.

What You’ll Do

Design the Programs

Create age-based AI learning experiences:

  • Elementary: AI Explorers
  • Middle School: AI Builders
  • High School: AI Creators
  • College and Early Career: AI Future for New Professionals

Build “Programs in a Box”

Turn each program into turnkey kits:

  • Facilitator guides (scripted and easy to run)
  • Activities and project plans
  • Tool recommendations (safe, accessible AI tools)
  • Parent and student communication templates
  • Built-in safety and governance guardrails

Scale a National Network

  • Recruit and enable facilitators (parents, teachers, community leaders)
  • Launch pilot programs and expand nationally
  • Build a PhoenixTeam AI Facilitator Certification program

Create Self-Serve Learning

  • Design digital pathways for older students and professionals
  • Build hands-on challenges and real-world AI use cases

What Success Looks Like (12 Months)

  • Hundreds of active AI programs across the U.S.
  • 10,000+ participants engaged
  • A growing network of trained facilitators
  • Recognition as a leader in grassroots AI education

Who You Are

Core Traits

  • Builder: you have created and scaled something from scratch
  • Systems thinker: you design for repeatability and scale
  • Translator: you simplify complex ideas into engaging experiences
  • Mission-driven: you care about education and workforce readiness

Relevant Experience (Flexible)

  • EdTech, curriculum design, or learning programs
  • Startup or operator experience
  • Community-based or distributed program models
  • Practical experience with AI tools

What This Role Is (and Isn’t)

This role is:

  • A product, platform, and movement-building role
  • High ownership and high autonomy

This role is not:

  • A traditional curriculum writer position
  • Academic or research-focused
  • Limited to classroom environments

Why PhoenixTeam

You will help build a national AI education initiative that equips the next generation with the skills to thrive in an AI-driven world.
