Human Resources and Administrative Coordinator
Vermont Adult Learning (VAL) is seeking a Human Resources and Administrative Coordinator to support statewide HR operations and provide administrative support to leadership and staff across our learning centers. This role involves HR coordination, employee onboarding and offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, and serving as a primary administrative contact for employees.
Responsibilities
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding, including exit interviews
- Coordinate payroll, timekeeping, and benefits administration
- Support open enrollment and COBRA administration
- Maintain HRIS data and personnel files. Coordinate compliance documentation, training tracking, and audit
- Provide administrative and meeting support to leadership and the board
Skills
- Associate's degree in related field required
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Comfort with digital systems and remote work
- Ability to travel occasionally within Vermont
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
- Experience in administrative or HR support preferred
