Human Resources Coordinator
Epic Gardening is a company dedicated to teaching the world to grow through gardening. They are seeking a motivated People Operations Coordinator to support various HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations in their Broomfield, Colorado location.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a first point of contact for Broomfield, CO warehouse employees for day-to-day support
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files
- Complete employment verifications and home loan verifications
- Manage all recruitment scheduling for all roles across the company
- Onboards and processes new hire paperwork and terminations within the HRIS (Rippling)
- Leads onboarding process for new warehouse hires joining the company
- Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Collaborate with benefits providers to resolve issues and communicate updates to employees
- Assist with time keeping and time off functions in conjunction with hourly people managers
- Assists with hiring process by creating job descriptions, sourcing, updating the ATS, scheduling calls, in person interviews, and creating offer letters
- Support in-office culture through mail distribution & event planning
- Administrative ad-hoc support for finance and legal teams
Skills
- 1–2 years of proven HR experience in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Enjoy planning and have a keen eye for detail
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Take a people-first approach in everything you do
- Genuinely excited by onboarding, training, performance management, and employee engagement
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
