Description
We are looking for a motivated person to join our team in the Division of Program Integrity. Our work

critical organizational functions including regulation review and compliance for Alcohol and Other Drug Entity
(AODE) licensed agencies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performs inspections of Kentucky organizations making application or being re-certified for Alcohol and Other Drug Entity (AODE) licensure and associated certifications; and performs other duties as assigned.
- Conducts initial, re-certification inspections of health care organizations applying for AODE licensure with assigned geographic region.
- Provides technical assistance to current and potential providers concerning licensure requirements, Driving Under the Influence and Narcotic Treatment Program certifications. Explains rules, regulations and policies governing these programs. Provides support for internal data tracking systems.
- Reviews corrective action plans and performs follow up inspections to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws. Issues notice of violations. Assists with complaints and unannounced inspections to providers. Makes recommendations for revocation.
- Lends testimony in matters before courts or other administrative adjudication bodies relating to citations or revocations of licensures and certifications.
- Knowledge in the use of computer technology, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION:
Graduate of a college of university with a bachelor's degree.
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:
Two years of professional experience in emergency medical services, a health/human services program or two years of experience in inspection/investigative work or a combination of both or a related field.
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:
Additional professional training in health services, human services, social work, or a related field will substitute for the experience on a year for year basis.
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:
Additional experience in the above fields, or a related field, will substitute for the required college on a year for year basis.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.):

Working Conditions
Work is typically performed in an office setting. Investigates complaints and provides consultation to health and social service providers. Some travel is typically required.
Probationary Period
This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
