MilSpouse Event Table & Registration Assistant Needed – Norfolk, VA

I am seeking a reliable, warm, and professional event assistant to support an NP at a military spouse mental health/wellness event in Norfolk, VA.

This is a one-day role focused on helping at the registration/event table, welcoming attendees, sharing basic information, and helping interested military spouses complete a brief interest form for spouse-centered mental health and wellness support.

Date: Tuesday, May 12, 2026

Time: Approximately 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location: Norfolk, VA

Estimated Hours: 8 hours

Responsibilities may include:

Assisting the NP at the registration/event table

Greeting military spouses and event attendees warmly

Helping attendees scan a QR code or complete a brief interest form

Sharing basic information about spouse-centered wellness and support options

Keeping flyers, table materials, and sign-up information organized

Helping with light table setup and breakdown

Supporting a calm, welcoming, and professional table presence

Directing clinical, personal, or detailed service questions to the NP

Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism throughout the event

Ideal candidate:

Military spouse or someone familiar with military spouse life preferred

Warm, grounded, reliable, and professional

Comfortable speaking with attendees in a friendly, approachable way

Organized and attentive to detail

Able to maintain confidentiality

Comfortable supporting a mental health/wellness event table

Event, outreach, registration, wellness, or military-family experience is helpful, but not required

This role does not involve providing therapy, mental health advice, or clinical services. The assistant will provide registration, table, and outreach support only. Clinical or personal questions should be directed to the NP.
