Maverik is an adventurous company seeking an In-Store Pricing Analyst to enhance customer value through data-driven pricing strategies. This role involves collaborating with teams to analyze pricing opportunities, monitor performance, and communicate insights to support the company's growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and champion pricing opportunities that align with Maverik’s business objectives
  • Collaborate with Category Management to understand category roles, objectives, and market trends
  • Analyze sales and performance data to support revenue and gross profit goals
  • Monitor and report on in-store revenue and profit performance
  • Partner with Pricing Systems to ensure timely and accurate execution of price changes
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to cross-functional partners

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience in data analytics, financial analysis, reporting, or business intelligence
  • Introductory knowledge of SQL and R or Python for data querying or analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with Google Looker preferred
  • A bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a natural tendency toward logical reasoning and strategic thinking
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights for diverse audiences

  • Experience in retail pricing, category management, or business strategy
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools or business intelligence platforms
