If you reside in the state of NV, TX or AZ, you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.  Primary Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">Responsible for managing inbound and outbound call center communications, ensuring efficient handling of customer inquiries, service requests, and follow-up interactions</li><li class="MsoNormal">Bleeding disorder/alpha 1 patient case management with inbound and outbound calls to your dedicated patient population, managing monthly refills, and completing assessments for the patients according to performance guarantee standards</li><li class="MsoNormal">Collaborate with the following partners across Infusion pharmacy: pharmacists, sales, and nursing to ensure the patient is provided with an excellent coordinated effort of care </li><li class="MsoNormal">Demonstrate the ability to actively listen to patients and ask appropriate questions to identify underlying issues that patient may have (i.e. Root Cause Analysis). Think outside the box to problem solve</li><li class="MsoNormal">Support the Benefit Verification team with processing test claims for patients to ensure clearance is obtained and patient order can be created </li><li class="MsoNormal">Understand internal and external factors that may drive patient questions - recent plan changes, call directing, weather emergencies </li><li class="MsoNormal">Ability to navigate multiple computer systems/programs/reference tools and quickly assist a patient</li><li class="MsoNormal">Ensure proper documentation of all caller questions/issues all the way to resolution </li><li class="MsoNormal">Aim for one call resolution with caller </li><li class="MsoNormal">Type and review orders/prescriptions when received to determine urgency, screen for accuracy, review claims processing status and reasons for claim rejection </li><li class="MsoNormal">Onboarding of new patients with high touch model </li></ul>What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications:<ul type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician licenses where required by state law:<ul type="circle"><li class="MsoNormal">If located in Nevada, current active and unrestricted pharmacy technician license in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment</li><li class="MsoNormal">If located in Texas, a technician license is required in the state of TX</li></ul></li><li class="MsoNormal">National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)</li><li class="MsoNormal">2+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician</li><li class="MsoNormal">2+ years of customer service experience</li><li class="MsoNormal">Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications</li><li class="MsoNormal">Currently located in Texas or Nevada (Nevada must also hold Arizona Tech license)</li><li class="MsoNormal">Must be 18 years of age OR older</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul type="disc"><li class="MsoNormal">Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience</li><li class="MsoNormal">Previous Home Infusion experience</li></ul>*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.

The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment.
