Insurance Account Manager
PrismHR is a premier independently owned agency in South Florida experiencing exponential growth and seeking a high-energy Insurance Account Manager. In this role, you will manage a diverse book of both Commercial and Personal lines, focusing on client advisory, quoting, and operational efficiency while leveraging support from offshore technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor, evaluating client requests and providing expert recommendations on Personal and Commercial insurance products
- Prepare and submit new business and renewal submissions to carriers and brokers. You’ll compare quotes and present the best options to your clients
- Partner with agency principals on broker/carrier presentations and provide regular updates on renewal results
- Coordinate with offshore technical teams to ensure administrative workflows are completed accurately and overnight
- Handle client inquiries, issue endorsements, and process certificates of insurance with speed and accuracy
- Maintain meticulous records of all communications and policy details within the agency management software
Skills
- An active 440 Customer Service License is required
- 1–3 years of B2B sales experience OR 3+ years in insurance sales/service
- At least 1 year of direct experience in either Personal or Commercial lines
- Confidence in prospecting, networking, and closing business
- Reliably based in South Florida (Miami area) and able to commute to the 33156 area for hybrid office days
- High school diploma required
- Ability to quickly learn agency management systems and manage digital workflows
- 220 P&C License
