Intermediate Accountant

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Intermediate Accountant on a full-time permanent basis on their Corporate Accounting team. This role involves preparing and analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and auditing various documents to support the organization's financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze gross margin calculations
• Reconcile general ledger, payable and receivable accounts
• Reconcile stock and direct sales for our Ag Solutions commodities
• Control outstanding matching reports and troubleshoot related problems
• Audit and prepare for processing various sales, purchase, and expense documents
• Other duties as required

Skills

• Have a minimum of 1-year of related accounting experience
• Have a minimum of 4 financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to margins and the agriculture commodity
