YOUR TEAM

To support our Finance & Operations team, we are currently looking for an intern or working student. In your role you get first-hand experience in the finance area and will be an integral part of the team that works on Financial Reporting, Subsidiary Controlling, Treasury, Tax & Export Control. 

Our Finance & Operations team (FA) consists of experts across Accounting, Controlling, Treasury, Tax and Export Control, working closely with business units and international stakeholders. We operate in a structured and collaborative way, combining governance and advisory functions to ensure financial compliance and efficient processes across CARIAD. The team works cross-functionally in a dynamic environment, supporting complex international business cases and driving continuous improvements. 
 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Support financial reporting and analysis activities 

Assist in treasury, tax or export control topics 

Conduct research on financial and regulatory topics 

Use AI tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT) for research and data analysis 

Support automation and optimization of finance processes 

Prepare presentations and management reports 

Contribute to process optimization and documentation 

Support cross-functional projects within Finance & Operations 

WHO YOU ARE

Enrolled student in the area of business administration, economics or similar field 

Interest in finance, tax, treasury or export control 

Analytical mindset and structured way of working 

Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel & PowerPoint)  

First experience with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) for data analysis, research or process optimization 

Interest in leveraging AI to improve finance processes (e.g. automation, compliance checks) 

Understanding of digitalization trends in Finance (e.g. data-driven decision making)

Internship             

Duration: 3 - 6 months 

35 hours/week                     

Salary: 13,90 €/hour                

Working Student         

Duration: 6 months (with the option to extend up to two years) 

20 hours/week, up to 35 hours/week during the semester break 

Salary: 17,80€/hour
