We’re looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven team member to join our Operations team at bunch. This role will focus on supporting investor onboarding across multiple markets, especially Germany, by managing documentation, communication, and compliance pre-checks.

This is a temporary 1-year position, designed to meet growing operational needs, with potential for extension or transition into other roles.

How the role contributes to the company's vision

  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for investors by managing and executing onboarding workflows with precision and care

Support the development of internal onboarding operations, SOPs, and documentation, driving consistency and excellence across the investor lifecycle

Lay the groundwork for future onboarding automation by identifying process inefficiencies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve scalability and user experience

Help maintain alignment with jurisdiction-specific onboarding requirements (e.g. DE, NL, LUX), particularly around investor qualification, legal documentation standards, and electronic signature rules

Contribute to a seamless fund closing process by ensuring all investor documentation is compliant, and finalized in coordination with fund managers and other stakeholders

    Top responsibilities

    • Handle full-cycle onboarding from initial Investor introduction to post-signature documentation upload and AMLO/Fund Manager handoff

Assign documentation and manage investor email communications and follow-ups. Craft tailored communication that explains next steps to Investors and keeps them engaged

Conduct initial AML pre-checks: interpret document completeness, identify UBOs, check proof-of-address timelines, and flag edge cases to AMLOs

Assist in preparing case files for AMLO review and maintaining risk documentation records

Track onboarding progress via internal tools and proactively flag delays, blockers, or required clarifications to internal teams

      Handle project management tools effectively

Create and monitor electronic signature envelopes depending on investor classification and jurisdiction

Maintain and improve onboarding SOPs and internal documentation

Document edge cases, fund-specific deviations, and lessons learned to improve future onboarding efficiency

Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners, including Account Managers, Compliance Managers, AML Officers, Fund Managers, and Fund Operations during deal setup and closings

What you should bring with you

      • 1–2 years of experience in:

        Fintech or banking operations

        KYB/CDD checks or AML processes

Customer support involving complex documentation handling

Investor relations or fund/legal operations experience is a plus

Comfortable with repetitive, detail-heavy tasks. You find satisfaction in keeping workflows clean and documentation accurate

Strong communication skills, especially in writing. Tone and clarity are critical when working with LPs and Fund Managers

Proactive, process-oriented, and dependable. Able to flag blockers early and push onboarding across the finish line

Able to manage multiple workflows simultaneously and adapt to evolving priorities

Comfortable working across multiple tools & systems like CRMs, communication tools, and databases

English fluency required; Advanced German is a strong plus
