The Technology Project Manager is a key coordinating role on a small, high-impact Technology team at a mission-driven nonprofit. Reporting to the Director of Technology Operations, this position is an individual contributor role that blends product management, project management, and technology support and operations. This role is ideal for a collaborative, people-centered technologist who enjoys connecting business needs with technical solutions and thrives in a dynamic, service-oriented environment.

In this role, you will support the day‑to‑day product coordination of ISEP’s custom Enrollment Management System (EMS) by working closely with staff across the organization and our external development team. You will help maintain the product backlog, support testing and release processes, and ensure users remain informed and supported.

Alongside EMS work, you will support cross-functional technology projects and initiatives, gathering requirements, managing workstreams and timelines, and supporting change management activities. You will also help evaluate emerging tools and practices, including AI and automation opportunities, identifying how they can strengthen ISEP's operational efficiency and mission impact.

ISEP is in an exciting period of technological growth, and we’re seeking someone who is eager to contribute, collaborate, and help move our technology ecosystem forward.

Work Hours: All team members are expected to be available during core hours of 10:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. ET. This role occasionally requires morning availability starting at 9:00 a.m. ET to accommodate meetings with our external development team across time zones.

To apply: Submit your resume and cover letter to ISEP’s online application system. In your cover letter, please share why you are excited about ISEP and this role, and highlight a technology system or project you’ve owned or supported.

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the application process: We ask candidates to use AI tools responsibly when preparing application materials. AI may be used to enhance your resume or support interview practice, but your application should reflect your own experience, skills, and voice. The use of AI during live interviews is not permitted.

Engage with staff and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and ensure technology solutions are fit for purpose

Support staff through technology transitions, assisting with training, communications, and adoption of new tools and workflows

Evaluate emerging technologies, especially AI and automation opportunities, through a responsible and ethical lens and identify opportunities that strengthen ISEP’s operational efficiency and mission impact

Technology Operations & Support

Support the Director in monitoring the IT budget and own monthly reconciliation of SaaS and software/hardware maintenance receipts
