Java Developer

We're looking for a Senior Java Developer with a banking background to join a 12-month contract project in the Baltic States (EU possible). The role involves building investment services and securities-related systems using Java and Angular.

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support a new investment services project within the banking industry, related to securities purchasing and related enterprise systems. The role focuses on developing and maintaining scalable Java-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adapting to evolving technical requirements. Experience with Angular is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services

Support development of enterprise solutions related to investment services and securities processes

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and implement technical requirements

Troubleshoot and optimize application performance while ensuring code quality

Contribute to robust, scalable, and maintainable software systems Must-Have Requirements:

Extensive hands-on experience in Java development and related frameworks

Experience with Angular

Proven ability to work on long-term projects with evolving technical requirements

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

Prior experience working in a banking environment
