Key Responsibilities:
- Assist registered nurses and licensed practical nurses with patient care and maintenance of patient records
- Perform hourly rounding, clerical functions, and maintain chart order
- Coordinate patient flow and communicate effectively with hospital departments
- Assist with patient teaching, supply maintenance, and equipment management
- Enter daily outpatient and observation room charges and maintain compliance with safety and infection control standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (will obtain during hospital orientation)
- Maintain compliance in RQI and exhibit excellent interpersonal, clerical, and numerical skills
- Ability to read, write, and perform math as demonstrated by a high school diploma or GED
