Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our clients' accounting operations. The selected candidate will work closely with the internal team and communicate regularly with U.S.-based clients in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the internal team to provide accounting support for Cordatus clients, including:

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable (A/P & A/R)

Bank and credit card reconciliations

Preparation of periodic financial statements

Enter invoices and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software

Work within accounting platforms to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and compliance

Communicate with clients via Zoom and Microsoft Teams

Respond to customer and internal queries through email, Slack, and MS Teams live chat

Support the Team Manager with additional accounting and administrative tasks as required

Job Specifications / Requirements

Education:

MBA (Finance) from a reputed university, OR

ACCA (Part-Qualified), OR

BSc/BS in Finance or Accounting

Strong understanding of accounting and finance fundamentals

Skilled in using accounting software and cloud-based accounting systems (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms; prior hands-on experience preferred)

Comfortable working with SaaS tools and learning new systems as required

Fluent written and spoken English for effective communication with U.S. clients

Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and other MS Office applications

Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for video and voice calls

Availability to work full-time during U.S. business hours

(6:00 PM – 3:00 AM Pakistan Time, Monday to Friday)

Fully remote position, open to candidates residing in Pakistan only

Salary & Benefits

Compensation:

PKR 42,000 – 55,000 per month, based on experience and skills.
