Full-time

Company Overview
Our client is a profitable U.S. B2B SaaS company that has been in market for over ten years, serving property managers and field workers through two mobile apps used by tens of thousands of people every day. The company is around 20 people, with 9 across engineering and product, has scaled without outside investment, and is adding to the team.

Your Role
You'll join as a junior mobile engineer on a small, two-person mobile team, working day-to-day alongside the Mobile Lead and reporting to the Head of Engineering. This is a role built for someone early in their career: you'll learn the codebase hands-on, ship real work to real users from week one, and grow your skills across React Native, Swift, and Kotlin with close mentorship. The team makes product and architecture decisions through ongoing conversation, and you'll be included in those discussions alongside the Mobile Lead, Head of Engineering, CEO, and product and design teammates — your questions and ideas are welcome from the start.

You'll:
Build and ship features across two React Native apps, paired closely with the Mobile Lead

Help maintain and, over time, extend Swift and Kotlin bridge modules

Support the two-week release cadence for iOS and Android, learning the signing and submission process

Investigate and fix production bugs across both platforms

Take part in product and architecture discussions across the team

You Bring:
A degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field — or graduating within the next year

Solid programming fundamentals and a working knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript

Some hands-on mobile experience through internships, coursework, personal projects, or open source (React Native a plus, but a strong general foundation matters more)

Curiosity about native development (Swift and/or Kotlin) and eagerness to learn it on the job

Clear English for code reviews, design discussions, and asking good questions

A self-starting attitude that suits a small, remote team

Bonus Points (genuinely optional — nice to have, not expected):
Any React Native project you've built or contributed to

Exposure to Swift or Kotlin

Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows

Interest in offline-first sync, maps/geospatial, or LLM-powered features

Any experience publishing an app to the App Store or Play Console

What's Offered:
Compensation: depending on experience and location — share your expectations and we'll see if there's a fit

Full-time contractor (around 40 hours per week, paid weekly in USD)

Fully remote, with at least 50% overlap with U.S. Pacific time

2 weeks paid time off, plus 8 local holidays

Company-provided laptop and occasional team trips

Direct mentorship from the Mobile Lead and exposure to the CEO and Head of Engineering
