Full-time

Zippy was founded with one mission: to make getting a loan for a manufactured home simple, fast, and fully online. We believe modern manufactured homes are affordable, well-built, eco-friendly, and stylish, but finding a lender who understands this market can be challenging. That’s why Zippy focuses exclusively on manufactured home loans, offering a seamless, digital experience.

Headquartered in Dallas, TX, with an office in Tempe, AZ, Zippy provides home loans and insurance to manufactured home buyers throughout the United States. Our remote-first team is spread across cities like Dallas, Houston, Knoxville, Omaha, Philadelphia, Phoenix, and several other states and cities. Backed by institutional investors, we offer competitive pay, stock options, and excellent benefits. At Zippy, we pride ourselves on our commitment to finance happiness through the power of home. We are dedicated to enhancing consumers' financial outcomes and tackling the affordable housing crisis through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Recruiter who thrives in high-volume environments and brings structure, urgency, and consistency to the hiring process. This is not an entry-level role - we’re seeking someone who already understands recruiting operations and can step in quickly to drive both execution and organization across recruiting.

This role reports directly to the Director of Talent Acquisition. The Director will focus on strategic, mid-level, and senior hiring, while this role will own full-cycle recruiting for assigned high-volume, entry-level roles and own recruiting operations across the function.

You’ll play a critical role in keeping everything moving - from sourcing and screening to scheduling and candidate experience - while also ensuring recruiting operations run smoothly across all roles. You’ll also support the Director with coordination on more complex searches and contribute to improving recruiting processes and infrastructure as we scale.

Think of this role as a hybrid between a recruiter and a recruiting operator - someone who can move candidates through the funnel while helping build the systems that keep hiring efficient. If you enjoy being in the middle of the action, figuring things out, and helping build something that’s still evolving, you’ll do well here.

What You’ll Own

High-Volume Recruiting Ownership

Own full-cycle recruiting for assigned high-volume, entry-level roles from intake through offer stage

Review resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments based on role criteria

Conduct entry-level phone screens and evaluate candidate fit, communication, and alignment

Move candidates efficiently through the funnel while maintaining quality and consistency

Recruiting Operations & Administrative Ownership

Own and drive all administrative and operational aspects of recruiting across the function

Manage candidate pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Post and maintain job listings across platforms

Maintain organized, efficient recruiting workflows and resolve process gaps quickly

Prioritize and manage competing scheduling and operational demands across multiple roles and stakeholders

Interview Coordination & Candidate Experience

Schedule interviews across multiple stakeholders and time zones for all roles

Manage interview logistics and communications

Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates across assigned roles

Deliver a high-quality candidate experience while maintaining speed and responsiveness

Sourcing & Talent Support

Conduct LinkedIn sourcing and proactive candidate outreach for assigned roles

Build and maintain evergreen talent pipelines for current and future roles

Support hiring efforts with speed, organization, and consistency

Recruiting Projects & Process Improvement

Support and lead recruiting projects such as centralizing documentation, updating templates, and improving processes

Contribute to strengthening Zippy’s employment brand through candidate experience and recruiting materials

Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to streamline recruiting operations

Help build scalable systems as the company continues to grow

People & Culture Support

Support additional projects and tasks across People & Culture as needed

What Success Looks Like

High-volume, entry-level roles are consistently filled with quality and speed

Recruiting operations run smoothly and efficiently across all roles

Scheduling and coordination for mid-level and senior roles are seamless

Candidates move quickly through the hiring process with a strong experience

The Director of Talent Acquisition can stay focused on strategic hiring and decision-making

The ATS is clean, structured, and always up to date

Recruiting processes, documentation, and templates continuously improve as the company scales

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in recruiting coordination, recruiting operations, or a junior recruiter role

Experience owning full-cycle recruiting for high-volume or entry-level roles

Experience conducting phone screens and early-stage candidate interviews

Strong experience with ATS platforms and candidate pipeline management

Experience managing scheduling and coordination across multiple stakeholders

LinkedIn sourcing experience

Ability to manage high volumes without sacrificing attention to detail

Strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to getting things done

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping create structure where it doesn’t exist

Proactive and resourceful, with a builder mindset - someone who creates structure, not just follows it

High sense of urgency with the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality

Highly organized with strong follow-through and prioritization skills

Ability to operate independently and take ownership of outcomes

Willingness to step outside of defined responsibilities to support the team as needed

Genuine interest in recruiting and building great teams

Professional, clear communication skills
