Salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year

Position Overview
The Junior Reporting and Analytics Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Brand Managers by collecting, organizing, analysing, and communicating field execution data and retail intel. This role ensures Brand Managers have accurate, timely, and actionable insights related to representative store visits, brand objectives, retail execution, compliance, competitive activity, and field observations.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and able to transform large amounts of field data into meaningful reporting that drives brand performance and retail execution excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Field Data Management
Collect, review, and validate data submitted from field representatives during store visits.

Ensure accuracy and completeness of visit reporting, photos, surveys, audits, and compliance tracking.

Monitor field activity and maintain up-to-date records of store execution and rep performance.

Create and adapt brand survey forms as required.

Assign visits & forms to representatives.

Maintain workforce platform.

Brand Reporting & Insights
Provide Brand Managers with timely reports on:
Representative store visits and activity

Brand objective completion and KPI tracking

Planogram and promotional compliance.

Secondary gains/losses

Out-of-stock reporting

Retail execution performance

Competitive intelligence and market activity

Translate field data into clear summaries, dashboards, and actionable insights.

Field Intelligence & Retail Insights
Consolidate insights from field teams regarding:
Competitive pricing and promotions

Shelf positioning and merchandising opportunities

Customer and retailer feedback

Emerging trends and risks in market

Escalate urgent issues (red flags) and opportunities to Brand Managers in a timely manner.

Reporting & Dashboard Management
Build and maintain weekly, monthly, and campaign-specific reports.

Create scorecards and dashboards that measure execution against brand objectives.

Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve in-store performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Brand Managers, Marketing Coordinators, Operations, and Field Teams to ensure reporting aligns with business priorities.

Support client presentations, business reviews, and performance recaps with accurate data and insights.

Communicate regularly with field teams to clarify reporting inconsistencies and ensure data quality.

Process Improvement
Recommend improvements to field reporting systems and workflows.

Help automate reporting processes where possible to improve speed and accuracy.

Maintain reporting standards and best practices.

Qualifications
College diploma or university degree in Business, Analytics, Administration, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in data coordination, retail reporting, merchandising support, or analytics.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups, reporting).

Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Google Sheets, or CRM/workforce management platforms is an asset.

Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
