Key Responsibilities
Assist in conceptualizing and executing social media content across platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, TikTok etc.)
Edit short-form videos and reels using trending formats, transitions, and sounds
Support in scheduling and publishing daily posts
Help in monitoring performance metrics and brainstorming ways to grow engagement
Collaborate with the creative and editorial teams for campaign and daily content ideas
Stay updated with social media trends, memes, and viral formats
Requirements
Decent understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok culture
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing tools
Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva is a plus
Great communication skills and attention to detail
A creative thinker who can work in a fast-paced digital environment
Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as journalism, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
Strong creative writing skills with an ability to craft engaging captions and content
Familiarity with major social media platforms and an understanding of trends in content sharing.
Ability to adapt content for different social media channels
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Bonus Points
Passion for sports / entertainment / pop culture
Experience handling or creating content for a social media page
Basic understanding of analytics and post-performance tools
