Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Kentucky SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
Two or more years of professional experience preferred
Previous school-based and/or teletherapy experience is a plus
Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
Comfortable utilizing virtual platforms and digital tools
Primary Responsibilities
Assessment & Service Delivery
Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations for students receiving services remotely
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs
Deliver engaging teletherapy sessions and monitor student progress toward goals
Analyze performance data to modify interventions and maximize outcomes
Collaboration & Team Participation
Partner with teachers, families, and school staff to support student achievement
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Share strategies and recommendations to promote skill carryover across educational settings
Telepractice & Technology
Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital resources to provide effective services
Adapt materials and activities to create an interactive virtual learning environment
Assist with basic technology troubleshooting and support platform accessibility for families
Documentation & Compliance
Maintain accurate records of services provided, student progress, and goal updates
Complete evaluations, reports, and required documentation within established timelines
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education requirements
Advocacy & Student Support
Support equitable access to communication services and educational opportunities
Provide resources, education, and guidance to families and school personnel regarding speech and language development
