The Key Account Associate supports the management and development of key customer accounts by building strong relationships, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering customer-focused solutions. The role contributes to revenue growth through effective account coordination, pipeline development, and consultative sales practices aligned with Yokogawa’s commercial strategy.

A key focus of this role will be supporting a strategic customer, Rolls-Royce SMR (Small Modular Reactors). You will receive structured training to build a strong understanding of this customer’s business, projects, and requirements. A significant portion of your responsibilities will be dedicated to this account, with the opportunity to expand into a broader customer portfolio over time as business needs evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Support the development and execution of account plans for assigned customers

    Maintain regular contact with customers to strengthen relationships and ensure satisfaction

    Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with customer needs


Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts

    Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers

    Support sales activities including customer meetings, presentations, and follow-ups

Customer Engagement & Solution Selling

  • Understand customer needs, challenges, and business drivers through structured engagement

    Assist in developing and presenting tailored value propositions

    Support the sales process from opportunity identification through to closure

CRM & Pipeline Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Workday)

    Track opportunities, activities, and customer interactions

    Support pipeline reviews and reporting

    Customer Insights

    • Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous improvement

      Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities

    Compliance & Process Adherence

    • Follow Yokogawa policies, sales processes, and compliance requirements

      Ensure data accuracy and adherence to governance standards


    Continuous Development

    • Develop product, market, and sales knowledge through ongoing learning

      Participate in training and coaching initiatives

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Contribution to sales pipeline and opportunity conversion

      Customer engagement and relationship development

      CRM data quality and activity tracking

      Support to revenue growth within assigned accounts

      What we promise to offer:

      Competitive salary, level depending on experience, plus incentive package

      Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet customer and business needs
