About the job Join ECARX's thriving team as the German Market International Sales Account Manager, reporting directly to the VP of Sales. This strategic role focuses on expanding ECARX's presence in the German market by generating new business, cultivating customer relationships, and driving growth strategies.

Responsibilities

Strategic Sales Ownership:

Develop and execute tailored sales strategies in conjunction with senior business leadership, with a particular focus on the German market, to exceed set targets

Drive initiatives to position ECARX as a leading provider within the automotive industry in Germany

Comprehensive Customer Relationship Management:

Take a holistic approach to managing customer relationships, ensuring the expansion of existing German accounts

Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders in German organizations to understand their specific needs and provide tailored solutions

Market Insight and Business Development:

Conduct in-depth analyses of the German automotive market, identifying trends, opportunities, and potential threats

Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities within the German automotive sector

Technical Expertise and Product Knowledge:

Maintain an extensive understanding of ECARX products, ensuring a deep technical knowledge

Conduct compelling and targeted technical demonstrations, showcasing how ECARX solutions meet the unique requirements of German OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers

Reporting and Forecasting Excellence:

Prepare detailed and insightful sales reports and forecasts, highlighting key performance indicators specific to the German market

Provide strategic recommendations based on market trends and customer feedback

Contract Negotiation and Pricing Strategy:

Lead negotiations for contracts and pricing, taking into account the competitive landscape within the German automotive market

Ensure agreements align with both ECARX's business objectives and the specific needs of German clients

RFQ/RFI Process Ownership:

Take ownership of the RFQ/RFI process, ensuring timely and accurate responses tailored to German market requirements

Qualifications & Experience

Deep experience within Account Management and Sales working with Large European OEMs

Experience in infotainment, ADAS or SoC product sales, development, and integration within the German automotive market

Proven success in closing substantial deals specifically within the German automotive industry

Established relationships with German Tier 1s and OEMs, such as VW, Daimler, Audi, Mercedes

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a deep understanding of the cultural nuances within the German business environment

Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or a related field

Fluent in German
