Key Account Manager - Clinical Diagnostics

We’re seeking a Corporate Account Manager to lead one of our largest strategic partnerships across EMEA and APAC. You'll play a key role in managing one of LGC's most important global accounts, building trusted relationships, unlocking new opportunities and supporting innovative diagnostic solutions.
This role can be located in any of our major countries in Europe: UK & Ireland, Spain, France, Germany, Italy.
What you’ll do
This role is central to our commercial success and long-term customer relationships. You will be responsible for developing account strategies, growing revenue, and ensuring customer satisfaction in two focus areas:
- Strategic sales enablement – Working with our partner’s commercial leadership teams to drive adoption of LGC solutions within clinical diagnostic labs across EMEA and APAC. You’ll support regional sales teams, lead conversions, and strengthen our Multichem Quality Control partnership. (Approx. 75%)
- Corporate account management – Supporting R&D and manufacturing sites across EMEA with critical components such as oligos, antigens, enzymes, antibodies, and quality controls. (Approx. 25%)
You’ll engage with key decision-makers, from lab managers to C-suite executives, and act as the primary commercial contact for all aspects of the partnership.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sales strategies aligned with revenue targets and business objectives
- Serve as the internal champion for your strategic partner, driving shared growth goals
- Lead regular business reviews, present performance updates, and manage commercial communications
- Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues, prioritise product deliveries, and manage demand
- Forecast revenue and develop pricing models using data-driven analysis
- Negotiate contracts and build roadmaps to capture new opportunities and product launches
- Represent LGC at global events, customer meetings, and roadshows
- Provide feedback to product and innovation teams to support future development
- Maintain accurate records and project timelines, ensuring transparency and accountability
What you’ll bring
We seek a commercial leader who prioritises relationships and excels in a dynamic environment.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A degree in biomedical science, clinical biochemistry or a related field
- At least 5 years' experience in strategic sales, B2B account management, or corporate partnerships in the IVD space
- Expertise in clinical biochemistry and immunoassay
