A leading systematic algorithmic trading firm operating across global markets is looking to hire an Execution Trader to support its East Coast portfolio management team. The firm has a 20+ year track record, with a strong focus on fully systematic, research-driven strategies.

This position sits at the intersection of trading, research, and technology, supporting multiple PMs on execution and strategy optimisation.

In this role, you'd:

• Manage and optimise trade execution across systematic equity strategies

• Work closely with PMs on trade models, signal implementation, and research

• Analyse and minimise slippage, improving execution efficiency

• Build and enhance internal tools and workflows using Python

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in execution trading within systematic / quantitative environments

• Strong experience in medium-frequency cash equities trading

• Demonstrated quantitative ability (research, model interaction, data analysis)

• Technical proficiency in Python for building trading tools and workflows

• Experience working with large books sizes is highly desirable

• Maximum 12-month non-compete acceptable
