Lead Frontend Developer

Our VC-backed Client in Austin is seeking a Front-End Engineering Team Lead (React/Redux) as they bring their next-gen business growth platform to market.

Key Responsibilities

Hiring and training frontend engineers on the software development lifecycle and coding standards

Working with the Director of Engineering and the product team to create/review measurable tickets and assign to team members with appropriate context

Working with the Director of Engineering to ensure that the backend tickets fit into a time schedule that keeps the frontend team fully enabled

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional frontend development experience (Javascript), with focus on the implementation of React/Redux. This will be valuable to establish credibility with you team.

 3+ years of experience developing and/or managing enterprise-scale implementations

 3+ years of experience managing development teams and communicating deadlines/goals with stakeholders

 Personality: driven, self-motivated, adaptable, empathetic, energetic, detail-oriented

Pluses

Exposure to Relational Database schema (PostgreSQL), Python, and the Django REST framework. This will help in architecture discussions with the Director of Engineering
