They are seeking a Legal Analyst to provide paralegal support, including reviewing legal documents, conducting research, and coordinating legal representation requests.

Responsibilities

  • The Legal Analyst provides paralegal support to the Legal Office
  • The Legal Analyst reviews and prepares responses to requests for confidential information, including subpoenas, authorizations, and Public Records Act requests, and conducts legal research
  • The Legal Analyst coordinates and transmits requests for legal representation to the Office of the Attorney General
  • The Legal Analyst coordinates the rulemaking process for EDD and handles administrative case filings with the CUIAB, SPB, and CalHR

Skills

  • Must have paralegal support experience
  • Ability to review and prepare responses to requests for confidential information, including subpoenas, authorizations, and Public Records Act requests
