TRN Law Associates is seeking a fully remote Legal Assistant to support attorneys and the Senior Paralegal within a sophisticated and growing litigation practice. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to active cases, take on meaningful responsibility from day one, and become an integral part of the litigation team.

Candidates located in or able to work remotely primarily during Pacific Time business hours are strongly preferred, no matter where they are located.

What You'll DoCalculate, calendar, and track court deadlines while monitoring litigation matters and court activity
Serve as the primary point of contact for the firm's incoming calls, including answering, screening, routing calls, taking messages, and assisting with prospective client inquiries.
Prepare, proofread, format, and assist with pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documents
Support hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation activities
File documents in state and federal courts while maintaining accurate case records and docket information
Coordinate client communications, scheduling, depositions, and attorney calendars
Maintain case files, document management systems, billing support, and day-to-day litigation administration
What You BringAssociate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum two years of experience supporting litigation matters within a law firm environment
Experience with court calendaring and legal document preparation
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working within cloud-based document management and calendar systems
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
Strong proofreading, written communication, and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication
Preferred ExperienceHaving supported attorneys within a billable litigation practice
Experience filing documents through state and federal e-filing systems
Experience working with MyCase, Asana, or similar legal practice management software
