Litigation Associate Attorney

Segal McCambridge, a respected national litigation firm, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join a national practice team. This is a fully remote position, supporting a wide-ranging national practice, although candidates may also work from any of our 20+ offices across the country if they prefer. This is a unique opportunity to gain meaningful litigation experience on high-stakes cases while working alongside nationally recognized trial attorneys.

What You’ll Do:

As a key member of our team, you’ll handle a variety of complex civil defense matters, including:

Toxic tort (asbestos) litigation

Premises liability

Product liability

General liability defense

From day one, you’ll gain hands-on experience: drafting pleadings, arguing motions, conducting depositions, managing discovery, and appearing in court. You’ll be mentored by experienced partners in a supportive, high-performance environment, with opportunities for growth and leadership.

What We’re Looking For:

Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (UBE jurisdictions preferred, with the ability to transfer scores if needed)

1–6 years of civil defense litigation experience

Strong skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy

Experience drafting pleadings, handling discovery, and managing motion practice

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Team-oriented mindset and proactive, ownership-driven approach
