Job Description

This position is primarily a software engineering

effort in the design, development, and

maintenance of the Weapon System Simulator (WSS) software through simulating aircraft via, Ethernet, MIL_STD1553 and MIL-STD-1760

interfaces. Candidate must have extensive

experience with C++ programming and

embedded system S/W. Engineer needs to be a self-starter who is highly motivated and able to initiate contact with other disciplines to get the job done. Engineer is able to become the system SME and be able to train others. Engineer will have to give solid and timely feedback to

management when required.

Basic Qualifications

Proficient with C++.

Experience with Visual Studios.

Experience with Simulators/Simulation environment.

Demonstrated experience with Test Equipment and Test Methodologies.

Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint.

Experience in oral and written communication to present to Management.

Must have or be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Desired skills

Experience with compliance to DFAR Security requirements.

HWIL, SIL, and CIL experience.

Software and Electrical engineering background.

Extensive integration experience.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
