Management Service Technician

The Management Services Technician will support various program activities within the Rail Safety Division by gathering data, performing analysis, and assisting with logistical tasks related to office management.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of semi-professional tasks related to the activities of the Rail Safety Division (RSD)
- Support the program work of the three branches of RSD: Railroad Safety, Rail Transit Safety and Grade Crossing Engineering; RSD Public Utilities Regulatory Analysts, and RSD Transportation Analysts by gathering data and information and performing less complex analysis of program information
- Occasionally assist other division administration staff with logistical tasks related to office space management at assigned location
Skills
- Eligibility for the classification
- Knowledge and/or experience performing data collection, entry, review, and reporting tasks
- Experience conducting research, gathering, and organizing information
- Knowledge and/or experience performing data entry and review in timekeeping software
- Completed applications and all required documents must be received or postmarked by the Final Filing Date
- Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678
- Resume is required and must be included
- Statement of Qualifications - (SOQ) is required
- Cover Letter is required
