Position Summary

The Manager, Portfolio Strategy supports enterprise growth by advancing the evaluation, development, and scaling of new and existing portfolio offerings. Working closely with the SVP, Portfolio Strategy, this role brings structured market analysis, financial modeling, and cross-functional coordination to initiatives within acute, post-acute, and managed services lines of business, including strategic partnerships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Business Cases

Conduct structured market assessments, including segmentation, opportunity sizing, competitive landscape analysis, and regulatory dynamics

Develop financial models and multi-year business cases for new and existing service lines, managed services platforms, and partnership initiatives

Support diligence for strategic partnerships, channel relationships, and select M&A opportunities

Portfolio Development & Performance

Support refinement of value propositions and partnership constructs under direction of Portfolio leadership

Translate strategic priorities into structured analyses and actionable execution plans

Track performance of new and existing portfolio initiatives; synthesize insights to inform prioritization, scaling, or recalibration

Identify market inflection points, regulatory dynamics, and competitive shifts that may impact portfolio prioritization

Portfolio Commercialization & Scaling

Support commercialization planning for emerging portfolio offerings, including positioning frameworks and internal playbooks

Partner across Clinical, Operations, Finance, and Growth teams to align messaging, pricing logic, and sales enablement

Identify adoption barriers and recommend structured solutions to accelerate uptake and growth

Executive Decision Support

Develop executive- and Board-level materials supporting portfolio prioritization, investment decisions, and growth updates

Distill complex market, financial, and operational analyses into clear, decision-oriented narratives for senior stakeholders

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related area.  MBA/MHA is a plus 

4–6+ in corporate strategy or 2-4+ years in management consulting

Experience supporting executive decision-making

 

Salary Range

This position offers an annual salary range of $105,000 to $145,000, as well as a bonus opportunity outside of base pay. Exact salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, education and geographic location.
