The Manager, Underpayment Recovery Services' primary responsibility will be to oversee underpayment operations for Trend Health Partners Underpayment Recovery Team and will be responsible for creating an environment that demonstrates above and beyond customer service to clients and develop next generation leadership within the growing company.  The manager will provide leadership and vision to the team with a focus on support, engagement and growth to Trend Health Partner clients ensuring they have the knowledge, training, and support they need to exceed their business objectives.

Role and Responsibilities
Manage inventory to profitability.

Implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures.    

Generate and analyze reports to improve process, business practice, realized efficiency gains and ensure profitability.    

Optimize services to maintain the highest level of client satisfaction and analyst efficiency.    

Be a dedicated problem solver and forward thinker by offering solutions to sustain current business and develop opportunities for future business.   

Liaise with multi-departments and industry to compliment knowledge and offer new trends.   

Coach, develop, and mentor staff to achieve quality performance by sharing knowledge and practicing servant leadership

principles, while continuing to develop personal management skills necessary to lead and handle unique challenges.    

Supervise staff work schedule, adherence to policies, monitor and evaluate performance .   

Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.    

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Prior experience as a team lead or similar role

Proven track record of successful results-oriented revenue cycle management

Underpayment/ZBA or equivalent experience required

Knowledge of EMR’s and provider operating systems

Strong problem solving, priority setting, facilitation, multi-tasking, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Ability to deal with the complexities related to escalation impact, resolution timeframes and conflicting or competing priorities.

An analytical and results focused mindset with a creative can-do attitude.

MS Office skills

Advanced communication skills with multiple levels throughout a healthcare organization

Proven track record in personal development to self and others

High attention to detail

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position will be exposed mainly to an indoor office environment and will be expected to work in or 
around computers and printers.

The nature of the work is sedentary, and the employee will be sitting most of the time.

Essential physical functions of the job include typing and the repetitive motion to utilize computer 
software and hardware continuously throughout the day.

Essential mental functions of this position include concentrating on analytical tasks, reading 
information, and verbal/written communication to others continuously throughout the day.
