Marketing and Communications Coordinator
Senior Living Residences (SLR) is a senior housing management company known for its quality care and innovative programs. The Marketing/Communications Coordinator will support the Marketing & Sales Team with public relations, marketing content, and associate communications, while gaining valuable experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Find stories and PR opportunities at SLR communities and for SLR in general, strategizing creative ways to tell these stories
- Assist with maintaining and updating SLR website, Community microsites, AgeRight Blog, Social Media Properties, and online directories
- Edit and proof written and digital communications
- Assist in the development and maintenance of tools to help onsite sales teams with outreach
- Support ongoing Associate Communications projects including, but not limited to newsletters, text alerts, events, professional development opportunities, benefits and perks
- Assist Marketing and Human Resources Departments with monitoring online employee reviews, writing/publishing content to employer job boards and strategically planning
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, English, Communications, or Marketing
- Exceptional written communication skills with superior grammar and spelling, proofreading skills
- Familiarity and a willingness to become proficient in Google Workspace Applications, social media platforms, and other Marketing/publisher tools
- The ability to produce compelling and concise copy, reports, and/or presentations
- Organized and dependable, with attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at any given time
- Team player with a friendly and engaging style and the ability to collaborate and coordinate with a wide range of people
