Marketing Assistant

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support day-to-day marketing activities and campaigns.
Position Summary
The Marketing Assistant will support the marketing team in executing campaigns, managing content, coordinating communications, and analyzing performance metrics. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, creative, and eager to grow in digital marketing and brand development within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Salary Range: $45,000 – $70,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support & Campaign Execution
Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels. Support promotional activities, product launches, and brand initiatives. Help coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, and approvals.
Monitor campaign performance and report key metrics. Content Creation & Management
Assist in creating content for social media, email campaigns, blogs, and websites. Proofread and edit marketing materials for accuracy and brand consistency.
Support development of marketing copy, visuals, and presentations. Maintain content calendars and publishing schedules. Social Media Support
Schedule and publish posts across social media platforms.
Monitor engagement and respond to basic inquiries or comments. Track social media performance and trends. Assist in growing brand presence and engagement.
Market Research & Analysis
Conduct research on competitors, industry trends, and target audiences. Gather data to support marketing strategies and campaigns. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for leadership.
Identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Administrative & Coordination Tasks
Support coordination of events, webinars, and promotional activities. Manage marketing databases, contact lists, and CRM updates.
Assist with vendor coordination and external partners. Organize marketing assets and digital files. Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with design, sales, and communications teams.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and marketing strategy meetings. Provide support for cross-functional projects. Communicate updates and progress on assigned tasks.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
1+ year of experience in marketing, communications, or administrative support. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industries. Experience with content management systems (CMS).
Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Canva, or similar platforms. Basic knowledge of SEO and digital analytics. Internship or entry-level marketing experience.
