Job Responsibilities:
As a Math Instructor/Tutor at Mathnasium of Mt. Juliet, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality math education to our students. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
- Collaborating with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assessing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
- Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
We're looking for candidates who are passionate about math, enjoy working with students, and are eager to learn and grow with our team. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn and be trained
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks

- Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency
- Provide work authorization
- Pass a background check
