Other.™ is a privately owned, Toronto-based company focused on raising the standards in Canadian advertising. They are seeking a Media Planning & Strategy Senior Associate to develop clear media plans, manage budgets, and collaborate with teams to ensure effective activation of strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Build and update blocking charts, budgets, channel allocations, and supporting documentation across digital and traditional channels
  • Turn briefs, audience insights, past performance, and strategic direction into clear planning outputs that are accurate and ready for activation
  • Apply planning frameworks and channel logic to support effective media recommendations
  • Maintain accuracy across numbers, assumptions, and documentation
  • Document assumptions, decisions, rationale, and next steps so teams can execute with clarity
  • Work with Performance, Creative, and Client Service to gather inputs, clarify needs, and support smooth handoffs into activation
  • Prepare accurate materials for internal reviews, working sessions, and client-facing presentations
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or unclear direction early enough to avoid downstream issues
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions into plans and supporting materials
  • Use AI thoughtfully to improve efficiency, clarity, and output quality within your scope

Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in media planning, media strategy, or integrated planning in an agency, vendor, or in-house media team, including exposure to a full media planning cycle from brief intake through plan development, review, and tactical activation
  • Working knowledge of digital and traditional media channels and core planning principles
  • Ability to build accurate planning outputs, including budgets, channel splits, and blocking charts
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail across numbers, assumptions, and documentation
  • Ability to turn information into clear, actionable planning outputs
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and keep work organized
  • Comfort receiving feedback and applying it to future work
  • Confidence using tools, data, and AI support responsibly to improve efficiency and quality
  • Experience with integrated planning across channels such as digital, video, audio, OOH, or print
  • Familiarity with planning and research tools such as Vividata, Comscore, Numeris, or platform planning tools
  • Experience contributing to planning rationale, internal reviews, or presentation materials
  • Experience working with budget tracking, finance processes, or planning documentation in an agency setting
