We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Medical Transcriptionist to transcribe voice recordings from healthcare professionals into accurate, properly formatted medical documentation. This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely and precise medical records while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality.

Responsibilities
• Transcribe audio recordings from healthcare providers into written reports
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and clarity of all transcribed documents
• Edit and review reports for grammar, medical terminology, and consistency
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and internal confidentiality policies
• Collaborate with medical professionals to clarify content when needed
• Upload finalized transcriptions to electronic health record systems

Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or completion of a transcription training program
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation
• Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• High typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) with accuracy
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently from home
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining patient confidentiality

Bonus Points
• Knowledge of EHR systems and transcription software
• Certification in Medical Transcription (CMT or RMT)
• Background in healthcare procedures
