Member Service Representative (18-Month Contract)
GroupSource LP is a company dedicated to delivering exceptional service in group benefit plans. As a Member Service Representative, you will ensure that members feel supported and informed, providing accurate information and solving problems to enhance the member experience.
Responsibilities
- Responding to members and providers via phone and email with accurate and timely information
- Assisting members with claims and coverage inquiries with professionalism and care
- Investigating complex inquiries to ensure responses are complete, accurate, and within SLA timelines
- Processing health and dental claims with accuracy and attention to detail
- Managing incoming inquiries from internal staff and sales offices
- Filing correspondence and claims to maintain thorough and organized records
- Supporting team quality by auditing your own claims and, when required, the work of team members
Skills
- Completion of, or near completion of, a post-secondary education program
- Strong data-entry abilities with number-pad proficiency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, paired with strong listening abilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a repetitive, fast-paced workload
- Ability to remain composed and solution-focused during difficult or escalated calls
- Ability to process and audit claims with accuracy
- 1–2 years of experience in a call centre, medical office, or group benefits environment
- Training in business writing
- Fluency in French
