Well.ca is a trusted destination for better-for-you everyday essentials and wellness brands. They are seeking a Merchandising Assistant to support the category management team, assist with content creation, and manage product categorization and inventory analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard new products and maintaining new product targets
  • Create unique product-level content to support SEO
  • Ensure that the products are properly categorized and merchandised
  • Liaise with vendors including contacting vendors for content and imagery and new product listings
  • Support Category Merchandising programs, e.g., visual merchandising on site as well as marketing programs
  • Conduct website analysis to identify product opportunities (e.g., identify products with high traffic and low conversion and trouble shoot root causes)
  • Manage discontinued items
  • Support Category inventory management analytics and efforts
  • Conduct category analysis as required
  • Other duties as required

Skills

  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft skills including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
  • Ability to work with a team in a multi-location environment
  • Strong verbal/written communications in terms of composing reports/results
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset
  • A can-do self-starter who is tenacious and creative in finding ways to get things done
  • Someone who is able to share key insights in a clear, concise and straight-forward fashion
  • Someone who is energetic, works hard, and is fun to work with
  • A team player who can help contribute to Well.ca's amazing culture
