Full-time

Budget: $2,500–$5,000 USD

Project Type: Fixed Price

Timeline: 4–6 weeks

Looking For: Senior Mobile App Developer (Flutter / React Native / Capacitor) with experience converting web apps into full mobile apps and integrating Health APIs.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

I have an existing web application built on Base44, which includes:

• A fully designed and functional front-end UI

• User authentication

• AI-driven logic (based on body type, BMI, blood type, etc.)

• Database already set up

• Smooth, fluid, modern user experience

The web version is clean, fast, responsive, and production-ready.

WHAT I NEED BUILT

I need this web application converted into a mobile app that is:

• Published in the Apple App Store (iOS)

• Published in the Google Play Store (Android)

• Retains the same UI/UX quality

• Fluid, user-friendly, modern

• Uses my existing backend + Base44 APIs

• Structured for future integrations (wearables + offline-first)

This is Phase 1 of the project. Future phases will expand functionality, but Phase 1 MUST be polished and professional.

SCOPE OF WORK (PHASE 1)

1. Mobile App Build

• Convert my existing Base44 web application into a downloadable mobile app

• Framework can be Flutter, React Native, or Capacitor (developer may choose)

• App must:

• Load my Base44 screens

• Maintain all UI animations and flow

• Support portrait mobile design

• Load fast and feel native

2. Native Mobile Features

Include in Phase 1:

• Splash screen

• App icon + branding

• Navigation transitions

• Smooth screen rendering

• Basic local caching (recent screens load even with poor connection)

• Deep linking setup

• Analytics setup (basic)

NOT included in Phase 1 (but must be architected for Phase 2):

• Full offline-first sync engine

• Deep wearable integrations (Apple Watch app, Fitbit app, sleep tracking, etc.)

3. Light Wearable Integration (Phase 1 – Optional “Basic Sync”)

If the budget allows, include:

• Apple HealthKit basic read permissions

• Steps

• Active energy

• Resting heart rate

• Google Fit basic read permissions

(same metrics as above)

→ The developer must map these values to my Base44 backend through secure API calls.

No advanced wearable features needed yet.

4. Backend Integration

The app must connect to:

• Base44 authentication

• Base44 API endpoints

• Base44 database connections

• AI recommendation endpoints (already built)

No backend rebuild.

No new database.

No re-architecture.

The developer only connects the mobile app to the existing system.

5. App Store + Play Store Deployment

Developer must handle:

• App Store Connect setup

• Google Play Console setup

• Signing keys

• Certificates

• TestFlight

• Play testing

• App submission

• Fixing Apple rejections if required

I will supply:

• Developer accounts

• Branding assets

• Screenshots and marketing copy for app listings

DELIVERABLES

By the end of Phase 1, I must receive:

1. iOS App (TestFlight + ready for App Store submission)

2. Android App (ready for Play Store submission)

3. Full source code

4. Documentation

• How the app connects to Base44

• How wearable sync is implemented (if included)

• How to update builds in the future

5. A fully functional mobile app that mirrors my existing Base44 UI

6. A future-ready architecture to support:

• Deep Apple Watch + Fitbit integrations

• Offline-first capabilities

• Advanced activity/wellness scoring

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Only apply if you have proven experience in:

• Converting web applications to mobile apps

• Flutter, React Native, or Capacitor

• Apple HealthKit / Google Fit integrations

• API integrations

• Offline caching systems

• Publishing apps to Apple App Store + Google Play Store

• Creating highly polished, fluid UI/UX

Please include:

• Links to past apps you’ve built

• Examples of web-to-app conversions

• Experience with health/wellness apps

• Your recommended tech stack and why

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• The app feels native, not like a cheap wrapper

• UI is fluid, fast, modern, beautiful

• App experience = same quality or better than current Base44 web app

• Users can log in, view programs, track wellness, interact with AI

• App is stable, polished, and ready for real clients

• The architecture prepares us for deeper Phase 2 integrations

PAYMENT MILESTONES

Milestone 1 (20%) — Project architecture + mock build

• Developer shows app shell loading Base44 login screen

Milestone 2 (40%) — Full app screens functional

• Navigation + UI implemented

• Backend connected

Milestone 3 (30%) — Wearable basic sync (if included)

• Apple Health + Google Fit simple metrics integrated

Milestone 4 (10%) — App Store + Play Store submission

• Ready for publishing

• Final QA + bug fixes

NEXT STEPS

Please answer the following when applying:

1. Which framework would you use (Flutter, React Native, Capacitor) and why?

2. Have you integrated Apple Health or Google Fit before?

3. How would you wrap my Base44 application into a mobile-native experience?

4. What challenges do you expect with App Store review?

5. Can you deliver within the $2.5K–$5K budget?

6. What is your estimated timeline?
