The California Department of Aging is responsible for administering programs that support older adults and individuals with disabilities. The Network Administrator will oversee the network infrastructure, including on-prem and cloud-based solutions, and ensure the functionality of various services and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide variety of tasks requiring regular innovative problem-solving within broadly stated and non-specific guidelines
  • Primarily responsible for overall Network Administration duties for the California Department of Aging (CDA)
  • Manage the CDA network infrastructure which consists of on-prem and cloud based solutions
  • Include various Windows Servers with file and print services, Intranet, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams, Microsoft Exchange/Outlook messaging services and multiple models of Windows workstations
  • Manage gateways, firewalls, switches and Wi-Fi equipment
