NYC Actor Lifestyle Shoot

Hey! I'm an actor and musician based in NYC relocating to LA at the end of July, and I'm looking for a photographer for a relaxed, casual portrait session before I go.

I'm primarily interested in natural, candid, lived-in shots — can be outdoor or studio if you have access to a space and think it serves the vibe. Either way, the aesthetic I'm going for is warm, natural, and unstaged — think Ben Platt, Jonathan Groff, Gideon Glick. Quirky, offbeat, real. Not stiff, not corporate, not overly posed.

Lifestyle shots is the goal.

I'll be attaching a mood board so you can see exactly what I mean

Session details:

Outdoor (Manhattan) or studio — open to both if it fits the budget

1.5 to 2 hours

2-3 outfit changes

15-20 final edited selects delivered digitally

Must be comfortable directing and coaching non-model subjects — I need someone who can draw out natural, relaxed expressions, not just click the shutter

Timeline: Looking to shoot before July 20th. Turnaround on edits within 1 week preferred.

Budget is $200 firm. Great opportunity for a photographer looking to add strong, personality-driven male lifestyle/portrait work to their portfolio.

Please only apply if you have outdoor or studio portrait experience with natural, lifestyle-oriented results. Wedding and corporate headshot portfolios are not what I'm looking for here — I want to see people looking like themselves.
