One-Page Landing Page Design (WordPress / MyListing)

Design-Only • Paid Trial • Phase 0

Job Overview

We are seeking a strong WordPress / Elementor designer to create a design-only one-page landing page for a new community platform built on MyListing.

This page is the front door for new visitors. Its purpose is to introduce the platform clearly, establish trust, and invite people to join intentionally — not to explain every feature.

This task is design-only.

No site access required.

Implementation will be handled internally.

Project Goals

Create a clean, modern, emotionally compelling one-page design

Communicate the value of the platform in under 60 seconds

Encourage visitors to join now as intentional members

Preserve simplicity — deeper content lives elsewhere

This is not a marketing funnel, feature dump, or ecommerce page.

It is an invitation into a movement.

What We Provide

We will provide:

Finalized brand assets (logos, colors, icons)

A hero image (already created and must remain visually dominant)

Clear section outline and copy direction

A short intro video to embed

One conceptual reference sample (directional, not pixel-perfect)

All final copy and messaging

⚠️ Important:

All language will be provided by us, including:

Headlines and sub-headlines

Membership framing

Fan / Artist / Venue role language

CTA text

Your role is design, layout, hierarchy, and visual clarity — not copywriting.

Core Concept (Very Important)

There is one way to join the platform: as a fan.

From there, members may claim additional roles (artist, venue) or earn higher stewardship roles over time.

The design should clearly convey:

Joining is an intentional step into participation

Browsing/exploring is already open to everyone

Claiming responsibility (artist/venue) increases visibility and signal

This is community-first and co-op-inspired, not corporate or extractive

Page Structure (Design Scope)

1. Hero Section

Full-width hero image (dominant)

Headline + short sub-headline

Primary CTA: Join the Buzz Brigade

Embedded intro video (inline or lightbox)

2. What This Is (Minimal)

3–4 short bullets focused on outcomes (not features)

Emphasis on fans, artists, venues, and filled rooms

3. Outcomes / Values

Clear human outcomes:

filled venues

thriving local culture

supported artists

empowered fans

4. One Way In. Many Ways to Contribute.

Everyone joins as a fan

Members may:

claim an artist role

claim a venue

earn higher stewardship roles

Claiming responsibility increases visibility and signal

This should feel earned, not promotional.

5. Why Join Now (Intentional Membership)

High-level framing only:

Joining is about stepping into fan power

Members can immediately begin contributing

Early members are recognized as OGs

No checkout flow. No pricing tables.

6. OG Recognition (Light Touch)

First 100 members receive:

access to a members-only OG merch page

Members receive merch discounts

Public merch page remains accessible to all

This should feel celebratory, not salesy.

7. Co-op Ethos (Short, Trust-Forward)

Community-first

Reinvestment into local scenes

Scholarships available (50% discount at checkout)

After 10 years of participation, members no longer pay fees

No fine print. No legal language.

8. Footer

Clean, minimal, values-aligned

Deliverables

One of the following (designer’s choice):

Figma design (preferred), or

Static HTML/CSS mock, or

Visual Elementor layout reference

Must clearly show:

section order

hierarchy

spacing

CTA placement

responsive intent

No backend logic. No plugins. No site access.

Technical Context (FYI Only)

Platform: WordPress

Theme: MyListing

Builder: Elementor

You do not need access to our site for this phase.

Ideal Contractor

We’re looking for someone who:

Is strong with WordPress + Elementor

Has experience with directory or marketplace themes (MyListing a plus)

Understands UX hierarchy without hype

Can follow a clear brief and exercise judgment

Values restraint, clarity, and trust-forward design

Design-first thinkers preferred over heavy developers.

What This Is NOT

❌ Not a full site build

❌ Not backend or membership logic

❌ Not copywriting

❌ Not ecommerce

❌ Not a feature explanation page

Budget

$50 fixed

This is a paid trial, estimated ~2 hours for someone experienced.

If successful, there is follow-on paid work available.

Tone & Aesthetic

Modern. Hopeful. Grounded.

Not hypey. Not corporate. Not “tech-bro.”

Important Note

A conceptual reference sample is provided to illustrate tone and hierarchy.

It is directional, not a strict spec.

You are welcome to improve upon it — please explain your reasoning.

Also - SVG brand set files are available, and will be provided after contract begins.
