We are seeking an experienced College Advisor to join our team on a very part-time, seasonal basis.

Our workload is light for much of the year and typically increases in late spring and summer (now). The right candidate is comfortable starting with just a few hours per month, with the opportunity to grow to up to 30 hours per month during peak season, October and November.

Who This Role Is For

• Current or former high school counselors
• Current or former UC or college advisors
• Education professionals seeking flexible, supplemental work

Experience Required
• 3–5 years of college advising experience
• Familiarity with college admissions timelines and application processes
• Experience advising high school students and families

Key Responsibilities
• Provide one-on-one college advising to students and families
• Support application planning, timelines, and strategy
• Review student materials and provide guidance and feedback
• Communicate clearly and professionally with families
• Work independently while collaborating with a small advisory team
• Comfortable and excellent using Zoom

Time Commitment & Schedule
• Available 3 days a week, 2 hours a day between 4-6 p.m. PST. We use Calendly so you can change your weekly availability as needed.
• MUST be available every week from October 15-December 15th. All holidays are observed.
• Initially a few hours per month
• Up to 30 hours per month during peak season
• Workload grows gradually as students are added
• All work is remote
